Acting as a Craft (AAAC) - Online

This is our ON-GOING workshop series that meets one day or evening weekly.  However, registered participants may audit other workshops in this category.  This online version of the workshop will be available until the Illinois "Stay-at-home" order comes to an end.

"Acting As A Craft" (AAAC) is our main, uniquely designed, professional on-going program for the serious actor.

This well-known accredited and acclaimed training program is second to none, incorporating all the necessary skills that an actor must acquire to achieve and ensure a successful career. This includes skills such as Scene Study, Character Development, Script Analysis, Voice & Diction, Monologues, Cold Reading, Intro to Shakespeare, Intro to Meisner, Sense Memory, Improvisation, Emotional recall and more!

“On-going” means that the program is designed so that you are able to begin your training anytime, and not miss any part of the process. Each participant is given individualized attention which is necessary to ensure their personal growth. This sought after program is taught at three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced professional. As your acting skills develop, you will be advanced to the next level of training.

To register for an online AAAC workshop, just click one of the links below!

7:00pm to 9:00pm
2:00pm to 4:00pm

Intermediate/Advanced Level
7:00pm to 9:00pm

Anyone can watch an AAAC class and join in group exercises.  However, due to time limitations, only registered students in our main, in-studio Acting As A Craft program will be able to receive personal instruction from teachers on scene study and monologue work.  If you would like to fully participate in these online workshops, you can click here to get registered for an 8-week session of AAAC or call us at 773-645-0222.  If you register for an 8-week AAAC session, we will automatically register you in the free online version as well.

Since AAAC is ongoing, you can choose your own start date, the earliest available currently being May 2nd.  Taking AAAC classes online will NOT use up any classes you sign up for!  Even if you attend every single online workshop we have available, you will still get a full 8-week session once in-studio classes begin again!

For refund and cancelation policy, read our F.A.Q. section.
