Artistic Director, Edward Dennis Fogell, being a US army veteran, is pleased to announce, he will be extending classes to all wounded veterans and all immediate family members of soldiers that have been killed-in-action defending our great country, completely free of charge. For all of our brave men and women that have served, we will also institute a military discount of 50% ($174.50) off classes for all veterans and first responders. AND 75% ($261.75) off of training to veterans who have served overseas in the past 18 months prior to their registration here at CAS.

It is one small step we can take to show our deep gratitude to these great heroes that risked their lives for our freedom. It is important to note that studying the craft of acting is not just beneficial to those with a desire to enter a profession in the performing arts, but it also involves cultivating tools useful in other industries and professions, which includes honing creative and communication skills, not to mention having therapeutic value for common disorders within vets, such as PTSD.

Our hope is to contribute in some small way by giving these courageous patriots the support that they need and deserve. We at CAS welcome them back with gracious open arms, showing our appreciation for their service and that they are not alone in this chaos. We are here for them at The Chicago Actors Studio.
